What A Day!!!

We did it! We survived the first day! We spent the day going over rules, procedures, and routines, organizing supplies (ahhh! mayhem!), and getting to know each other and our HUGE school! It will take a bit of work to get into the swing of things, but we are off to a great start.

I have asked the students to write a reminder to parents/families in their planners to sign up for parent portal so that you all can check your child's grades at any time. If you have not yet done that please do it as soon as you can!

We started using our classroom behavior management system, Class Dojo, today! The kids have already starting earning Dojo points, and I plan on sending home a behavior report from Dojo at the end of the week. Tomorrow afternoon I will send home a sign up sheet for you all so that you can check your child's progress via the free app, or on the website at ANY TIME! You will also be able to message me via Dojo. There is more information about Dojo under the, "more," section of this blog. I also plan on going over it in more detail at Back to School Night.

I am so excited to get to know everyone even more, and to get started with LEARNING! :)
